Basketball Game Preview: Chuckey-Doak Black Knights vs. West Greene Buffaloes

Chuckey-Doak and West Greene are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2021, but not for long. The Chuckey-Doak Black Knights will venture away from home to face off against the West Greene Buffaloes at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Tuesday, Chuckey-Doak strolled past Johnson County with points to spare, taking the game 62-45. The Black Knights pushed the score to 53-32 by the end of the third, a deficit the Longhorns cut but never quite recovered from.

Meanwhile, West Greene came into Tuesday's contest having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past South Greene 50-47.

Chuckey-Doak's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for West Greene, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.

Everything came up roses for Chuckey-Doak against West Greene in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 63-26 victory. Will Chuckey-Doak repeat their success, or does West Greene have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
