South Rowan had lost three straight headed into Wednesday's contest, but Anderson Pauley didn't let it get to four. The Raiders strolled past the Trinity Bulldogs with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 69-50 for which the team can thank Pauley, who posted 32 points. The game was his fifth in a row with at least 15 points.

South Rowan's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Trinity, they are on a 24-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, South Rowan will host East Davidson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Trinity, they will venture away from home to square off against Asheboro at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Blue Comets have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
