Volleyball Recap: Clawson Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Clawson was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Mott on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trojans lost 3-0 to the Bishop Foley Ventures on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Ventures: they've now lost seven in a row.

While Clawson was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Bishop Foley's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-16, 25-20.

Bishop Foley was led to victory by Leah Rovner and Mary Maltese. Rovner had five digs and three aces, while Maltese hit 71.4% for five kills and eight digs and four aces. That's the most aces Rovner has posted since back in August of 2024.

Clawson's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6-2. As for Bishop Foley, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-19-1.

As of now, neither Clawson nor the Ventures have any future games scheduled.
