Volleyball Recap: Academy of Our Lady Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Booker T. Washington, Academy of Our Lady was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Sulphur Golden Tors by a score of 2-0.

Academy of Our Lady's victory bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Sulphur, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-17 record this season.

Academy of Our Lady will square off against Edna Karr at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Penguins surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sulphur, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Central Private on the 3rd.
