Baseball Recap: Ellison Takes a Loss

Ellison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 19-2 to the University Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, with their most recent loss being a 15-0 defeat last Tuesday.

Ellison saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chance Panapa, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Ellison's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for University, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Ellison will challenge rival Belton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, University is set to square off against their familiar foe Waco at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
