Football Game Preview: Wilson Central Wildcats vs. Overton Bobcats + How To Watch

The Wilson Central Wildcats will venture away from home to face off against the Overton Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Last Friday, Wilson Central was beaten by Cookeville 34-6. The game marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Overton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 20-14 heartbreaker at the hands of Cane Ridge.

Overton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Wilson Central, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Wilson Central won a contest that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in August of 2019, slipping by Overton 28-27. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Bobcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
