Chesapeake entered their tilt with Owings Mills on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Golden Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 19-8 on Monday.

Chesapeake pushed their record up to 6-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Owings Mills, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
