Football Recap: Lumberton Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home + How To Watch

The matchup between Lumberton and West Marion on Friday hardly resembled the 12-7 effort from their previous meeting. The Panthers came up short against the Trojans, falling 42-21. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Lumberton's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-2. As for West Marion, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Lumberton will face off against Wesson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Cobras have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for West Marion, they will be playing at home against Sumrall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
