Basketball Game Preview: Eagle Mountain Knights vs. Decatur Eagles

The Eagle Mountain Knights will head out to square off against the Decatur Eagles at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Eagle Mountain is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by Castleberry to the tune of 52-13 two weeks ago. The Knights pushed the score to 43-8 by the end of the third, a deficit the Lions had no chance of recovering from.

Meanwhile, Decatur waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with 13 straight wins... but they left with 14. They took their game with ease, bagging a 102-21 victory over the Bobcats. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Decatur's win was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.5 points per game. As for Eagle Mountain, their victory bumped their record up to 2-14.
