Softball Game Preview: Northeast Lauderdale Trojans vs. Itawamba Agricultural Indians

For the second straight game, Northeast Lauderdale will face off against Itawamba Agricultural. The Trojans will welcome the Indians at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Northeast Lauderdale heads in on the heels of a playoff contest on Thursday. They lost 10-0 to Itawamba Agricultural. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Itawamba Agricultural's part, they let Abbie Robertson and Skylar Partlow run wild. Robertson went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and one double, while Partlow got on base in two of her three plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs. That's the most RBI Robertson has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Marli Larabee, who got on base in both of her plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Itawamba Agricultural's win bumped their record up to 23-6. As for Northeast Lauderdale, their loss dropped their record down to 17-9.
