Football Game Preview: Gardiner Bruins vs. Reed Point/Rapelje Renegades

The Gardiner Bruins will head out to take on the Reed Point/Rapelje Renegades at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Gardiner has given up an average of 40.4 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Gardiner will bounce into Friday's game after beating White Sulphur Springs, who they had gone 0-7 against in their seven prior meetings. The Bruins managed a 50-46 victory over the Hornets on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Reed Point/Rapelje was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 39-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of West Yellowstone. Even if the Renegades couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

Gardiner now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Reed Point/Rapelje, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Everything came up roses for Gardiner against Reed Point/Rapelje when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 65-20 victory. In that contest, the Bruins amassed a halftime lead of 32-12, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
