While Portola put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for St. Margaret. Portola blew past St. Margaret's 13-0. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Tartans recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Not much got past Brendan Villanueva, who gave up just two hits to keep St. Margaret's off the board. The dominant performance also gave Villanueva a new career-high in strikeouts (four).
