Walton is 6-1 against Marietta since November of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Walton Raiders will be playing at home against the Marietta Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m. Marietta took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Walton, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, Walton strolled past North Cobb with points to spare, taking the game 60-46. Given the Raiders' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 11th, while the Warriors are ranked 297th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Marietta ended up a good deal behind Etowah on Tuesday and lost 67-51.

Walton's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for Marietta, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-13 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Walton against Marietta when the teams last played back in January, as the team secured a 63-21 win. Will Walton repeat their success, or does Marietta have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
