Soccer Game Preview: Woodberry Forest vs. Trinity Episcopal

The Woodberry Forest Tigers will challenge the Trinity Episcopal Titans at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Woodberry Forest's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Woodberry Forest is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Virginia's top teams: Collegiate, who was ranked sixth at the time (Woodberry Forest was ranked 12th). The Tigers fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. Woodberry Forest haven't had much luck with Collegiate recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in September, Trinity Episcopal was forced to settle for a draw on Wednesday. They and Virginia Episcopal School finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw.

Woodberry Forest's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1-1 and their overall record down to 6-4-1. Trinity Episcopal's draw gives them a new season record of 4-8-2.
