Volleyball Recap: North Sevier Wolves vs. San Juan Broncos
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but North Sevier had no problem doing just that on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the San Juan Broncos. The Wolves are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 28 straight.
North Sevier walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-9, 25-17, 25-16.
Trey Torgerson paced North Sevier's offense, picking up 12 kills. Torgerson got some help from
Swayzee Mason and her 32 assists.
Cale Torgerson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
North Sevier's win bumped their record up to 29-1. As for San Juan, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-12.
North Sevier wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against South Sevier on the 2nd. San Juan has also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Enterprise on the 2nd.
