Volleyball Recap: Paoli Takes a Loss

Paoli was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Lanesville Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Saturday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-14, 22-25, 25-17.

Despite the loss, Paoli still got an impressive performance from Abigail Poe, who had 11 digs and four aces. Charlee Ashley also deserves some recognition as she had her first blocks of the season.

Paoli's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Lanesville, they pushed their record up to 10-6 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Paoli wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Clarksville on the 9th. As for Lanesville, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Eastern on the 10th.
