Lincoln-Way West and Bradley-Bourbonnais pushed the score to 17-9 the last time they played Bradley-Bourbonnais, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Warriors never let the Boilermakers get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 17-9 back in April.

Lincoln-Way West's win bumped their record up to 17-9. As for Bradley-Bourbonnais, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-10.

Looking ahead, Lincoln-Way West will be playing in front of their home fans against Naperville Central at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Redhawks have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season.
