Basketball Recap: Beech Skates Past Clarksville with Ease

Beech's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They breezed by the Clarksville Wildcats to the tune of 73-44. Given the Buccaneers' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 136th, while the Wildcats are ranked 282nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Beech now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Clarksville, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Beech has already played their next matchup, a 62-21 win against Hunters Lane on the 6th. As for Clarksville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 57-51 loss against Kenwood on the 10th.
