Basketball Recap: Plattsburgh Starts Season with Loss at Home

Plattsburgh unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 51-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Peru Nighthawks. The Hornets' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it eight in a row dating back to last season.

The victory was the third in a row for Peru, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Plattsburgh and Beekmantown will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th. Peru has already played their next matchup, a 56-37 win against Moriah on the 13th.
