Basketball Recap: Hug Skates Past Eureka with Ease

Hug won the last time they faced Eureka and things went their way on Friday too. The Hug Hawks blew past the Eureka Vandals 60-32. With the Hawks ahead 38-16 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Hug's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Eureka, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.

Hug and Eureka could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Nevada Rankings. Hug (ranked 63rd) will meet Dayton (ranked 11th) at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. Similarly, Eureka (ranked 60th) will meet North Valleys (ranked 19th) at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
