Baseball Game Preview: DeSoto County Bulldogs vs. Clewiston Tigers

The DeSoto County Bulldogs will head out on the road to square off against the Clewiston Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither DeSoto County nor Clewiston posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

DeSoto County lost 7-1 to Avon Park on Thursday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

DeSoto County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Daylon White, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Trenton Alley also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Meanwhile, Clewiston didn't have quite enough to beat Aubrey Rogers on Thursday and fell 3-2.

Cayson Holman made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Clewiston dropped their record down to 14-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for DeSoto County, their loss dropped their record down to 7-16.
