Wabash extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping their season record up to 7-5 in the process. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 victory over the Madison-Grant Argylls. That's two games straight that the Apaches have won by exactly two runs.

As for Madison-Grant, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss they have suffered since April 9, 2024.

For Madison-Grant's part, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Levi Nelson, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Looking ahead, Wabash will head out on the road to challenge Eastbrook at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Madison-Grant, they will welcome Marion at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
