The Niwot Cougars will head out to face off against the Thompson Valley Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Niwot will be strutting in after a victory while Thompson Valley will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with seven losses in a row, Niwot turned things around against Frederick on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Golden Eagles. The Cougars not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 12th (when they won 12-2).

Haden Shaw was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Kaige Kennedy, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
