Soccer Recap: Pottstown Takes a Loss

Pottstown lost against Phoenixville two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Trojans came up short against the Phantoms, falling 11-0. While losing is never fun, Pottstown can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 551st, while Phoenixville are ranked 97th).

Pottstown's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Phoenixville, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Pottstown is set to take on their familiar foe Pope John Paul II at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Phoenixville will face off against rival Upper Merion Area at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
