Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Mallory Beier and Jordan Blahosky Lead Willmar to Victory

Willmar won the last time they faced New Prague and things went their way on Saturday too. The Cardinals had just enough and edged out the Trojans 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cardinals.

Willmar was led to victory by Jordan Blahosky and Mallory Beier. Blahosky had ten digs and three assists, while Beier had ten digs and one assist. Blahosky is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season. Ellery DeBoer also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Willmar's record is now 5-2. As for New Prague, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Willmar wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Eagan on the 6th. New Prague has also already played their next contest (against Roseville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
