Lovejoy won the last time they faced Melissa and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Leopards put the hurt on the Cardinals with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-20, 25-14.

Avery Gray had a dynamite game, getting 21 digs and four assists. That's the most assists she has posted since back in September.

Lovejoy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-12 record this season. As for Melissa, they dropped their record down to 21-16 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Lovejoy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Greenville on the 24th. As for Melissa, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against McKinney North on the 24th.
