Basketball Recap: Howe Comes Up Short

Howe saw some tournament action on Thursday. They were beaten by the Benbrook Bobcats 52-20. The game marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Benbrook can attribute much of their success to Jacorey Head, who went 6 of 12 en route to 16 points. The dominant performance gave Head a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Deshawn Deane, who posted seven points and five rebounds.

Howe now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Benbrook, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Howe wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 43-15 win against Quitman on the 27th. As for Benbrook, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-44 loss against Perrin-Whitt on the 27th.
