Volleyball Recap: Analy Extends Winning Streak to Eight

Analy waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the American Canyon Wolves. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Analy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-19, 25-15, 25-17.

Magnus Niedermair paced Analy's offense, picking up 21 kills. Niedermair got some help from Bryce Williams and his 24 assists. Niedermair was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Analy pushed their record up to 22-5 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. As for American Canyon, their loss dropped their record down to 20-6.

Looking ahead, Analy will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Ukiah at 5:30 p.m. The Tigers are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a three-game losing streak. American Canyon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
