Heritage Christian put the hurt on Spectrum with a sharp 13-7 win on Thursday. Considering Heritage Christian has won five games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Heritage Christian's victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.1 runs over those games. As for Spectrum, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-3.

Heritage Christian didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-3 victory against North Lakes Academy on the 16th. As for Spectrum, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 1-0 win against Mayer Lutheran on the 16th.
