Baseball Recap: Whitman Vikings vs. Damascus Hornets
Whitman dropped their record down to 9-3 on Thursday, which also ended the team's eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Damascus Hornets. Whitman and Damascus should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Maryland Rankings. The Vikings will take on Clarksburg on Saturday with a big rank advantage (15 vs. 144). Meanwhile, Damascus (ranked 20th) will meet Rockville (ranked 180th) at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
