Volleyball Recap: Ursuline Academy Comes Up Short

Ursuline Academy lost against John Curtis Christian back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lions took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-9.

Among those leading the charge was Kinsley Mcinnis, who had five aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September.

Ursuline Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season. As for John Curtis Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-11 record this season.

Ursuline Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Sarah T. Reed on the 28th. As for John Curtis Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Newman on the 25th.
