Volleyball Recap: Sanger West Comes Up Short

Sanger West suffered their biggest loss since September 23rd on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Sanger Apaches. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Apaches recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

While Sanger West was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Sanger's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-13, 25-15.

Myla Dondero paced Sanger West's offense, picking up four kills. Dondero got some help from Maddilynn Villarreal Puga and her six assists. Harmony Xiong controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Sanger West's defeat dropped their record down to 18-13. As for Sanger, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-10.
