Football Recap: Belvidere North Skates Past Boylan Catholic with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Belvidere North). They blew past the Boylan Catholic Titans, posting a 39-12 win. The Blue Thunder not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 3, 2024 (when they won 34-0).

Belvidere North didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Madison Hill and Maddie Barrios. Barrios has been hot recently, having posted at least one interception the last three times she's played. Belvidere North got some further help from Chloe Schadle: she picked up three sacks and made eight total tackles.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-5. As for Boylan Catholic, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
