Colton Williams put up the most strikeouts he's had over his last three games on Friday. He struck out six batters over 5.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Williams and Millard West will take on Papillion-LaVista South in a tournament on Saturday. Sadly, Williams' big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Wildcats' six-game streak of wins on the road. With the streak broken, Williams and the Wildcats surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Saturday's match.
