Soccer Recap: Sequoyah vs. Lenoir City
Sequoyah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 9-0 walloping at the hands of the Lenoir City Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Sequoyah of the 9-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.
Sequoyah's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Lenoir City, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sequoyah will take on South-Doyle at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. South-Doyle is strutting in with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 4.8 goals per game this season. As for Lenoir City, they will be playing at home against Loudon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
