Soccer Recap: Sunnyside Takes a Loss

Sunnyside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Corona del Sol Aztecs, falling 4-0.

Sunnyside's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Corona del Sol, the win keeps them at an undefeated 3-0-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sunnyside will welcome Desert View at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Desert View's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Corona del Sol, they will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Gilbert at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Corona del Sol's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Gilbert's offense will have their work cut out for them.
