It was a good run, but Madison unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Ida Bluestreaks, falling 13-1. The Trojans were red-hot at the plate heading into the game (they scored no less than ten runs in the four matchups prior), but the Bluestreaks' pitchers proved too tough.

Madison saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Mohr, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 11-2. As for Ida, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

While Madison had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
