Basketball Recap: Perry Panthers vs. Westerville North Warriors
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Perry can now relate to. They were dealt a 78-46 defeat at the hands of the Westerville North Warriors on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 89th, while the Warriors are ranked third).
Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Preston Dazey, who posted seven points and five rebounds. Luke Wolf was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 11 points and nine boards.
