On Friday, Thomason Strickland posted his first game with 10+ total tackles. He made 13 total tackles as Cypress Woods fell to Waller 41-38. That new high-mark topped his previous career-best: five total tackles, set last Friday.

Strickland and Cypress Woods will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Langham Creek at 7:00 p.m. on October 4.
