On Tuesday Carter Gilliam pitched three innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. The performance also marked the most strikeouts (three) Gilliam has had since back in May of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fourth in a row with less than two walks. For the year, he has an ERA of 3.15 over 6.7 innings pitched.
