Basketball Recap: James Island Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

James Island won the last time they faced Stall, and Madisyn Smith did her part to make sure it happened again. The James Island Trojans simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Stall Warriors 68-28 thanks in part to Smith, who went 5 for 10 en route to 13 points in addition to eight assists and three steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 15 games she's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Morris, who posted two points and 11 rebounds. Those 11 boards gave her a new career-high.

When it comes to explaining why Stall lost, don't look at Ja'Niha Brown. Despite the final result, she earned 11 points and six rebounds. Alibeth Victoria Lazaro also deserves some recognition as she grabbed her first steal of the season.

James Island is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-9 record this season. As for Stall, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.

James Island has already played their next game, a 77-31 loss against Ashley Ridge on the 29th. As for Stall, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 60-32 defeat against Fort Dorchester on the 28th.
