Basketball Recap: Hiawatha Takes a Loss

Hiawatha lost against Newark back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Hiawatha Hawks took a 43-29 bruising from the Newark Norsemen. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hiawatha's loss dropped their record down to 2-26. As for Newark, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-23.

Coming up, Hiawatha will host Alden-Hebron at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Newark, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Seneca at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
