Stevenson won the last time they faced Zion-Benton and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Patriots came out on top against the Zee-Bees by a score of 2-0. The win was familiar territory for the Patriots, who have now won four matches in a row.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Stevenson was: they took both sets by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-13.

Nomin Baterdene paced Stevenson's offense, picking up seven kills. Baterdene got some help from Ryler Bondad and her 21 assists. Bondad also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Abigail Inman, each putting up two.

Stevenson's record now sits at 17-10. As for Zion-Benton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-15.

Looking ahead, Stevenson will be taking part in a tournament against Kaneland at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Zion-Benton, they will take on Central in a tournament on Friday.
