Volleyball Recap: Julian Triumphs

Julian won the last time they faced Borrego Springs and things went their way on Thursday too. The Eagles came out on top against the Rams by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Julian walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-16, 23-25, 25-15.

Dani Bagalini was the offensive standout of the contest as she had eight aces. Those eight aces gave her a new career-high.

Bagalini wasn't the only good servers: Julian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 36 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in six consecutive matchups.

Julian's victory bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Borrego Springs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-18.

As of now, neither Julian nor the Rams have any future games scheduled.
