Decatur entered their tilt with Snow Hill on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Snow Hill Eagles by a score of 59-51. The Seahawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Leading Decatur to victory were Davin Chandler and Noah Tucker. Chandler went 7 for 14 en route to 21 points in addition to five assists and five boards, while Tucker almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Chandler has scored at least a third of Decatur's points. Caleb Loring was another key player, putting up four points and eight boards.

Decatur smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in five consecutive games.

Decatur's victory was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.1 points. As for Snow Hill, their loss ended a 14-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-3.

Decatur wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 52-46 win against Parkside on the 16th. As for Snow Hill, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 86-54 victory against Pocomoke on the 16th.
