Softball Recap: Kettle Run's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Kettle Run took a six-run defeat the last time they faced off against Millbrook, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Cougars had just enough and edged out the Pioneers 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Cougars sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Aaliyah Alexander spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on six hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, Kettle Run's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Leah Trible, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Kettle Run's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Millbrook, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.
