Basketball Recap: Grace Christian Comes Up Short

Grace Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 23rd straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Peoples Baptist Academy Knights 67-25. The Crusader were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-14.

Despite the loss, Grace Christian still got an impressive performance from Zechariah Griffith, who posted eight points.

Grace Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Peoples Baptist Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grace Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Peoples Baptist Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025. As for Peoples Baptist Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Appling Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m.
