Baseball Recap: Arcola Has No Trouble Against Salt Fork

Arcola won against Heritage on Monday with 13 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Purple Riders were the clear victors by a 13-6 margin over the Salt Fork Storm. The Purple Riders have beaten the Storm the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Storm has come to flipping the script.

The team relied heavily on Brevyn Whisman, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Arcola's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 4-1 (and 1-3 when he doesn't). Brody Phillips was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
