Redding Christian added to the longest winning streak in California - North (8 Man) this week by beating Tulelake, 52-0. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
The Honkers lost to Redding Christian 52-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Hayfork's dynamic duo of Edgar Castellanos and Kenny Piper proved to be unstoppable against Happy Camp, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Castellanos threw for 50 yards and Piper had 35 yards receiving.
The Timberjacks' dynamic duo of Castellanos and Piper proved tough for the Indians to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Castellanos put up the best numbers through the air as Hayfork topped Happy Camp.
Piper was the best wideout in the league this week as Randy Harrison's team bested Bob Parry's team.
Dayton Pepperdine was a force in the backfield as Dunsmuir defeated Big Valley.
Pepperdine was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 215 yards on 19 carries as the Tigers bested the Indians. Teammate Chase Sordahl added to the ground attack by rushing for 133 yards.
Hayfork's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Timberjacks feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Castellanos has thrown for 260 yards and 5 touchdowns this season, while Piper has 5 catches for 165 yards. Castellanos also leads the league in rushing with 631 yards.
The most important game in the league this week will be the match up between Butte Valley and Stephen Dabbs' team. The Bulldogs enters the contest ranked 17th in the state, while the Lions ranks seventh.
Redding Christian led the league in scoring this week after putting up 52 points on Tulelake. Hayden Piper threw for 20 yards and ran for 162 yards in the win.
