Volleyball Recap: Treasure Coast Takes a Loss

Treasure Coast came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Legacy Lions, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-6, 25-18.

Leading Legacy to victory were Paisley Woods and Tianna McLeod. Woods had nine digs and five assists, while McLeod had six assists and four aces. That's the most aces McLeod has posted over her last three contests. Madison Jurek also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Treasure Coast has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Legacy, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 18-7.

Coming up, Treasure Coast will head out on the road to face off against Port St. Lucie at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Legacy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
